    We were after lamb shawarma. We got it, but in the form of mostly unchewable rubber. Shame, because the flavor was great. It's just that most of it ended up back in my napkin because I simply couldn't break it up with my teeth.

    The falafel wrap's texture was disappointing too; all mush.

    As with everywhere in France, however, the vegetables' freshness stood out.
